Josh founded Tenzing in 2021. He is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, and the opportunities they provide for individuals and society. 

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Wichita-based Emprise Bank. He also serves on the Dean's Advisory Board of the Wichita State University Barton School of Business. He has served on the Board of Directors of NXTUS since 2018.

He spent 5 years leading NXTUS, working to grow the regional innovation economy in Kansas and Midwest. Between 2008 and 2018 he worked at Koch Industries, where he held various innovation and technology leadership roles during that time. Prior to Koch he spent time in technology investment and business development.


Josh earned his degree in entrepreneurship from the W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University.

Tiffany Chen, Intern

Tiffany is a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University double majoring in Business Administration and Stats & Machine Learning with a strong interest in finance and venture capital. She also serves on the executive board of CMU Venture Capital Group, and in her free time, she likes to do ice skating, Krav Maga, and digital illustration.


Sohil Shah, Intern

Sohil graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2023 and is a rising sophomore at UC Berkeley, where he is studying Business Administration and Data Science. He enjoys playing golf, poker, and reading, and he has a passion for venture capital and investment banking. Sohil is also a member of 180 Degrees Consulting and Alpha Kappa Psi at UC Berkeley.

Max, Co-Founder

Max sleeps through most meetings and protects the office from various deliveries and intruders. He's been with Tenzing since the beginning and originally joined the family as a rescue from the Kansas Humane Society in 2014.
